Our award-winning Corporate Finance team works across the business and has grown into one of the largest teams in the region. In the last year alone, the team completed more than 50 transactions, with Experian noting that it is the most active in the Southern region.
The Corporate Finance team – one of the largest in the region – capably and confidently provides advice on all deal types and services.
The team also provide strategic advice that helps clients achieve their personal and corporate objectives.
We work in a high pressured and deadline driven environment and as such it can be simultaneously challenging, rewarding and enjoyable. As the team are often multi-tasking and dealing with multiple stakeholders, all with different roles, we need to be good communicators who thrive on challenge.
The Corporate Finance team’s broad spectrum of client work includes mergers and acquisitions, company valuations, financial and tax due diligence, financial projections, business planning, fund raising (debt and equity) and management buyouts. The team also advises on a wide range of transactions, fundraisings (debt, equity and grant) and valuations, as well as providing strategic input to management teams and shareholders. Transactions tend to range between £5m – £50m and increasingly involve our international network.
Depending on the type of work, we could be acting on behalf of the shareholders or the company, and each piece of work is different, with some projects being completed in one month and others taking several years.
The team is also supported by the full range of services offered from the firm with specialists in Tax, VAT, PAYE/NI for transactions, and ongoing accounting and compliance for 20,000+ recurring clients.
Our team is engaged and high performing and so we support and supplement invaluable on the job experience with a blended learning approach that incorporates essential technical learning and supports your individual needs. This is driven by an annual performance review, career conversation and access to leadership development programmes.
