“From day one PKF Francis Clark have encouraged me to take ownership of my career and to take it as far as I want.”
Fresh out of A levels, I was indecisive as to whether I should pursue the university route for further studies or dive straight into the world of work. The firm provided the opportunity to do both!
From day one the firm have encouraged me to take ownership of my career and to take it as far as I want. The firm support my studies toward professional qualifications and we continuously review where I am now and what my options and ambitions for the future are.
We work closely with the Financial Planners to establish the best outcomes for our clients. We compile the research to support our advice and prepare all written formal recommendations.
The people – everyone is super friendly, willing to get stuck in and keen to help each other out.
I joined FCFP in October 2013 as a Junior Client Liaison, providing administrative support to our Financial Planners in the Torquay office.
In November 2016, I moved into my current role of Financial Planning Technician, providing technical support to our Financial Planners firm-wide. The practical experience has helped my studies towards the Diploma in Financial Planning which I am due to complete later this year.
My ambition is to become a Chartered Financial Planner within the Financial Planning team and I aim to complete the Advanced qualification within the next year or two.
PKF Francis Clark cover the cost of your studies, exams and provide for study leave. My colleagues are always happy to give their time when I have any queries.

Lots of tiny steps lead to big leaps.
I must have expensive taste as I don’t have any gadgets that cost less than £20!
Don’t keep waiting – do it now!
I am very involved with Brixham Gig Rowing Club – I row myself and coach other crews. Nothing beats being out on the water and watching the sun go down, especially if the dolphins and seals come to join us!
I’d like to learn a new language or the piano.
