“Be prepared to put in some hard work, but it is so worth it and you will be supported in your role.”
I was looking to work for a growing firm with a people-focused ethos which was closer to home. PKF Francis Clark has a great reputation and I had heard how much staff were valued.
I have recently moved into the Marketing department therefore am still getting to grips with a change in role. However, I primarily organise events for the staff and clients of the Exeter office and assist with marketing a number of sectors across the firm internally and externally.
I really enjoy working with everyone in the office and the variety of my role. Every day is different and the great thing about my role is I am able to get to know everyone in the Exeter office and firm-wide as well.
Everyone is so lovely and welcoming. Staff and partners are always really supportive of peers and whichever office you visit you always get a friendly welcome.
I first joined PKF Francis Clark as a Marketing Co-ordinator in the Exeter office, looking after the marketing and business development. This role was great as the office is so ambitious and forward-thinking, be it partners or rising stars. As I was situated within the centre of the office, I was able to see firsthand the working day of those providing services to clients and try and assist them where necessary. I also worked closely with the central Marketing team and transferred to their department in May where I am able to develop my marketing knowledge.
I work with a great team of experienced marketing professionals who are all so skilful in different ways. We all work well together and are able to help each other out when needed.
Somebody who is hard working and willing to develop, as well as having a friendly nature.
Whether you are looking to go in to accountancy or something different such as marketing, the firm provides so many different opportunities. Be prepared to put in some hard work, but it is so worth it and you will be supported in your role.
People, Enjoyable, Supportive.
The Queen, Emily Blunt, Ricky Gervais.
The Maldives or New Zealand.
Probably a collaboration of my favourite songs on my Spotify playlist. It includes a mixture of ones for chilling, driving home, running or going to the gym!
Be the best you can be. Or be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons!
I have recently got into running so probably my wireless headphones. Cheap and cheerful and don’t have to worry about the wires getting tangled.
A walk in the sun to Powderham for breakfast before going out on either the kayak or paddleboard… followed by a BBQ or roast with family.
To do what you want to do and you can’t please everybody!
Currently planning a wedding!
I love cooking and baking but would love to be able to decorate cakes.
